The Art of War – Inside the Creation of Sudden Strike 4’s Distinctive Art Style!

We proudly reveal our first featurette shining a spotlight on the making of the stunning artwork for upcoming World War II RTS Sudden Strike 4, in collaboration with the extremely talented artist Simon Robert. Having worked on hit games such as Killzone: Shadow Fall and Ryse: Son of Rome as well as the hit TV show Game of Thrones, Simon Robert was seen by Kalypso to be the perfect choice to create a set of evocative, propaganda-inspired oil paintings for Sudden Strike 4.

ABOUT SUDDEN STRIKE 4: With Sudden Strike 4, the legendary tactical real-time strategy series returns better than ever. Bigger battlefields, more units, better graphics and new scenarios await you in a historically authentic World War 2 setting that challenges your tactical skills in a way that none of its predecessors ever have before. Storm the beaches of Normandy, lead your tanks into the Ardennes and defend Moscow in three action-packed campaigns, playing as the Allied, German and Soviet forces respectively. Take command of over 100 different units and test your strategic abilities in over 20 demanding singleplayer missions, a challenge-focused skirmish mode and a multiplayer mode with up to 8 players. Sudden Strike 4 offers countless ways to vanquish your opponents. Exploit the weak spots of tanks, set up an ambush, occupy buildings with infantry, outmaneuver the enemy with clever positioning or unleash devastating air strikes – how you approach each mission is up to you!

Sudden Strike 4 will launch Spring 2017 on Windows PC, Mac, SteamOS and PlayStation®4.
